Today I wore my Super Junior shirt in honor of them winning the award last night. One of the assistant principals comes up to our table after we sit down and asks what my shirt says.

Him: Oh that's cool
[Is walking away]
Andy (calling after him): Are you a k-pop fan?
[He keeps walking]
Andy: What are you? Say A? Sone? Blackjack?... Ha.. get it... cuz he's black.

I have a date to Prom. And it's not my boyfriend.

I don’t even have a date…(yet, if possible.) Trung, bailed out on me so he could ‘study’ for AP exams that weekend.

Almost the same in any culture?
At breakfast time I sit with my Chinese friends, one of the guys leaves with his 'new girlfriend', after she came to our table.
Kelly: Oh he just left with her.
Me: I know..
Kelly: There is something we say in Chinese about this. Zhòng sè qīng yǒu. You know this meaning?
Me: Can you say in English? I do not know.
Kelly: Uhm..uh.. means person put their lover ahead of their friends.
Me: Oh! I know now. This always would happen to me. sometimes my American friends, when they have boyfriends, sometimes they always be with their boyfriend.
Kelly: That is sad.
Me: I know, but I don't want to do that my friends.
Jun: Maybe you will get one soon.
Me: No no no I do not think so.
